Life is amazing, and sometimes amazingly hard. Each of us have beliefs and experiences that affect our ability to form meaningful relationships, accomplish goals, or accept ourselves. I hope to help the individuals, couples, and families I work with to challenge their negative beliefs and guide them in using skills to develop a stronger sense of self and more stable relationships. I use a strengths based approach and offer traditional as well as equine-assisted therapy.
Starting therapy can be intimidating and scary. I am here to help you through this process! Call or email me and we can set up a time to start this journey.

As a dedicated mental health professional, I bring years of experience supporting individuals navigating trauma, PTSD, substance use, depression, self harm, suicidal ideation and anxiety. I earned my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Utah, where I built a strong foundation in evidence-based, compassionate care.
I have a special passion for working with teenagers, helping them build resilience, process difficult experiences, and develop healthy coping strategies. My approach is warm, client-centered, and grounded in creating a safe, supportive environment where healing and growth can take place. Sometimes that growth and healing takes some work. I believe there is power in reminding individuals that they are worth the work that they are doing.
I have received training in Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Narrative Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). These approaches allow me to tailor therapy to each individual’s unique needs, empowering clients to explore their stories, manage emotions effectively, and move toward meaningful change.

I received a Master of Social Work from the University of Utah and have experience working with a wide range of individuals. I have spent time working at a day treatment center for adolescents, and more recently, worked with adolescents and adults dealing with anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, and substance abuse at a community mental health center. I have received training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing and seek to incorporate these modalities into my work.
I genuinely believe that each individual has the strength within them to confront life’s challenges and I am passionate about helping individuals navigate these challenges with empathy and nonjudgment. I tend to take a laid-back approach to therapy that allows individuals to explore the relationship they have with their emotions and thoughts. I seek to help individuals find a balance between acceptance and striving for change in a way that allows them to meet their personal goals.
I strongly believe in the power of nature as a way to foster personal growth, and in my free time, I can be found skiing, climbing, and exploring the Wasatch Mountains and deserts of Utah.
